History
After several years of recreational diving and getting to know various diving spots and different diving centers around the world, we gained perspective on the particular way in which each of those centers offered their services. We began to develop a greater affinity with the centers and schools for which safety was a priority.
As time went on, when talking to beginner divers in our circle of family and friends, we realized that they showed enormous deficiencies in their diving skills. They had not been given a complete course and were unable to follow minimum safety standards, putting their safety and lives at risk. This situation worried us because they were our loved ones.
With all of this in mind, Mantas Divers was born in 2020 when our current Dive Master had the opportunity to become certified as an instructor, and together with the rest of our staff, we set out to teach diving in a conscientious and safe way. Since then, we have been moving in that direction, always promoting comprehensive education. We go beyond simply certifying divers. We form a community of conscientious divers, always aware of their surroundings, their own abilities and limitations, the environment and our impact—divers who are autonomous, independent, and safe when exploring the beauty that the underwater world offers.
