This area of the central Pacific offers volcanic rock reefs, coral gardens, schools of fish, rays, eels, turtles, white-tip sharks. Some of the diving spots that we can enjoy in this area are Punta Quepos, Starfish Garden, El Acuario, among others. The best time of year is from December to May.

Adventure Diver or Open Water certification

Playas del Coco – The Classic of the North Pacific

Playas del Coco is available year-round, but offers the best visibility from May to November. It has a great variety of dive sites—almost 30—, among which Sorpresas, Punta Argentina, Tortuga, Corridas, Punta Gorda stand out, and other lesser-known sites such as Palmares and Punta Ballena.
